The Importance of Using Aetna Insurance to Cover Detox and Substance Abuse Treatment
First, why is it important to use your Aetna insurance plan to cover the cost of detox and addiction rehab services at our facility? Without health insurance coverage, medical detox and addiction treatment can be expensive, often costing thousands of dollars per week. Not only can this put a financial strain on individuals and families, but paying for detox and rehab services out-of-pocket is inaccessible to most people.
Insurance can help you cover the cost of both detox and addiction rehab services. You can use Aetna to cover any of the programs at our drug and alcohol treatment center in LA.

Without medical support and supervision, getting off of alcohol and some other drugs can be life-threatening. It is because of this that medical detox is a vital first step for many incoming clients. Veritas Detox approaches detox from an individualized perspective that prioritizes your comfort and safety. Incoming clients get a medical and psychological assessment. From there, you will go through detox at our center in a way that meets your needs. Medications may be prescribed alongside other comforts to help you through the process. Most of our clients stay in drug and alcohol detox for about 3-8 days before transitioning into our residential inpatient rehab program.
Our residential inpatient rehab program is designed to give you the skills you need to build and maintain a healthy, happy, and sober life. Inpatient clients at Veritas Detox get individual therapy 2-3 times per week, which is more than most treatment centers offer. You will also participate in group therapy, recreation, exercise, regular sessions with your assigned psychiatrist, and other treatment activities throughout the week. Clients often stay in residential inpatient rehab at Veritas Detox for anywhere from two weeks to three months. Typically, longer stays are preferable, but this depends on your needs.
The luxury living spaces at our facility are spacious and comfortable. Amenities include but aren’t limited to a fitness room, a pool, and indoor and outdoor meeting areas. You will be able to call family members while participating in our residential inpatient rehab program.
Aftercare planning is an integral part of addiction treatment. Before you leave Veritas Detox, we will help you make a custom aftercare plan, which may include:
- Job and education planning (or help discovering what you would like to do if you aren’t sure yet). We help employed clients transition back into their work positions and support you along the way.
- Participation in our alumni support program, which helps you stay connected to and supported by Veritas Detox staff and other former clients.
- Continued individual, couples, group, or family therapy.
- Ongoing medication management services.
- Support groups in your local area.
Like treatment, your aftercare plan will be tailored to meet your needs. Everyone’s life and background is different–our diverse team is here to help you succeed.

What Our Clients Say About Us
Veritas came highly recommended and lived up to any expectations I might have had. I traveled halfway across the country to a place completely foreign to me in California and felt comfortable almost immediately which provided for a solid foundation in my Recovery...
A little over a month ago I was home struggling with a bad drug problem. I had gotten a hold of a recruiter & they suggested “Veritas” in Los Angeles CA. This place is absolutely amazing & very helpful. The staff are great as well as their personal Chef. The meals are great & everything else is. It’s a very comfortable place...
Veritas has been life saving and life changing for my son, which has made a profound impact on our family, as a whole. My son has struggled with drug addiction since his late teens. He is about to turn 25, next month. He has been to detox/treatment multiple (4) times, but I truly feel this will be his last. He is 40+ days sober with a brand new zest for (sober) life...
I'm not typically one for writing reviews but I truly believe this place saved my son's life. After numerous attempts to get clean in our area, we thought it was best to get away from the people and places that brought him to this point. His therapist was amazing and I feel that he finally got the one-on-one help that he actually needed!
