Primary Therapist

Tina Aghai holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy specialization from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge. She received her clinical training at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology Counseling Center, a community mental health center and continues working in mental health at Veritas Detox. Her focus is on individual and group psychotherapy for adults and adolescents dealing with issues related to substance abuse, relationships, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and life transitions. Her approach is based on encouraging self-awareness and insight into thought processes, feelings and behaviors, so that individuals can learn and develop skills needed to have more satisfying relationships with self and others and improved coping skills for life’s challenges.
